Temporary Event Parking District for Oregon22

In effect now through July 24

Eugene welcomes the world! The World Athletics Championships Oregon22, July 15 to 24, will host 40,000 visitors per day.

A Temporary Event Parking District is currently in effect between Hilyard and Agate Streets and 18th Ave and 23rd Ave. A permit is required to park on the street within the event parking district. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Residential (Zone A and H) and guest permits remain valid within the district.
  • Permit parking will be enforced daily between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. through Sunday, July 24.

SUN residents are eligible for FREE guest permits.

Free guest permits are generated online via your account at eugene.aimsparking.com.

Guest permits allow your guests to park on the street within the temporary event parking district.

  • You will need to know your guest’s license plate number to issue them a permit.
  • If you have unexpected guests, please create a permit as soon as possible.
  • If a citation is issued prior to getting your guest permit, please email your citation number and guest permit number to parkingpermits@eugene-or.gov.
