Support Your Community
We encourage residents of SUN to run for a place on our neighborhood board, the South University Neighborhood Association. Terms are two years and the board meets monthly. There are currently 13 members who volunteer and work on a variety of projects (see committee list below). It’s an active, engaged, and welcoming group. We are looking for 3 additional members.
We particularly encourage UO students to join, as well as parents of Edison students, in order to better represent their interests in our community. Candidates of all backgrounds and any age over 17 are invited to self-nominate.

VOTE: In June we will have our annual vote.
OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED: Don’t have time for meetings??? Consider joining a group of like-minded, engaged neighbors to work on community events of your choosing, ranging from the University Park Renovation, the eNewsletter, the Disaster Prep team, planning and hosting General Meetings (including our Annual Ice Cream Social at University Park), the Neighborhood Leaders Council, our Little Free Libraries, welcome banners, and more. New ideas for committees and activities are welcome!
